Andrew Surman

Andrew Surman is an experienced central midfielder currently playing for Bournemouth. Born on 20th August 1986, in Johannesburg, South Africa, Surman moved to the UK during his school years and went on to join the Southampton youth academy. After two loan spells with Bournemouth he made the move permanent with a deadline day transfer on 1st September 2014. An ever-present during the Cherries’ first Premier League season (2015/16), Surman was second only to Cesc Fabregas in completed passes (2,287). He was made vice-captain of the side for the 2016/17 campaign.
