Both teams will have a huge motive to win this game – France will want to become the first team to defend the title since 1962 and Messi will have his troops rallied as World Cup trophy is the only one missing in his career.
Of course, the two teams won’t need much of an extra motive either since it is the World Cup final. So, tensions are bound to be high and both teams will be extra careful in this one. Given how close they are in terms of overall quality, we just don’t see any team winning the game regular time.
Leo Messi to Score at Any Time
At what is likely the last major tournament with his national team, Lionel Messi was the best player for Argentina and he is leading his team as captain to getting their third World Cup title in history.
Messi is also tied at the top of the list for best goalscorers with Mbappe, with both players scoring five times so far. With that in mind, we can see Messi giving us a bit more magic and scoring a goal in the grand finale as well.

These two teams already played each other in group stages and the game turned out to be a scoreless draw, which was the first indication of what we can expect from these two teams going forward – a tough, hard-to-break defence.
