The World Cup Group F is made up of Belgium, Croatia, Morocco and Canada. It will take place from November 23rd to December 1st, 2022. The top two teams will advance to the round of 16. Here's a recap of the different World Cup 2022 groups
World Cup Group F Predictions
Here you will find some of the most interesting World Cup Group F predictions out there. Remember to check the odds before placing your bet!
Croatia vs Belgium – Draw @ 47/20 (3.35)
Belgium were the bookies’ top favorite to win Group F and get a place in the round of 16. Now, neither of these things seem to be on the table for Roberto Martinez. Belgium’s “golden generation” is just clueless. The two games against Morocco and Canada should’ve given the European team a comfortable six-point lead at the top. Yet the team finds itself in 3rd place with only three points.
Croatia’s place in the round of 16 isn’t booked just yet, and coach Zlatko Dalic’s boys will have to do their best to cement their place at the top of the table. Zlato Dalic can hit two birds with one stone should he get the victory against Belgium. Croatia will finish 1st in Group F and will get a comfortable opponent in the next round. Furthermore, the Balkan team will also knock out one of the top teams in the tournament.
Nevertheless, what are the chances that Belgium are going to fail for a third consecutive game? The draw seems to be the most likely outcome and it’s going to be Morocco that will benefit the most.
Canada vs Morocco – Over 2.5 goals @ 5/4 (2.25)
We don’t know what happened with Canada in their last group-stage game. The Maple Leafs had an unexpectedly good start to the game after Buchanan managed to whip a lovely cross to Alphonso Davies who pounced forward and his header resulted in a 1:0 lead for Canada in the 2nd minute of the game.
The rest of the game went under Croatia’s control and the result was rightfully 4:1 in favor of the European team. Canada are out of the World Cup after losing both their games so far, so this will be a pressure-free game for coach John Herdman’s boys. They will try to get the most out of the match against Morocco as they are playing for their honor out there.
On the other hand, Morocco are one of the most pleasant surprises at this World Cup. Coach Walid Regragui’s team is amongst the very few at this Mundial who haven’t conceded a single goal. And Morocco played against two of the best teams around – Croatia and Belgium. Both of these games ended with under 2.5 goals so we conclude that it’s time for us to see a bit more interesting 90 minutes of football that include the African country.

Who has won previously?
In order to talk about World Cup Group F, we should mention its important composition. This group is composed of 4 teams from countries that have not won a World Cup since the beginning of their history. However, the teams look strong and defiant. Each team has been building up over the years for this big moment, where it may be their turn to win. Although only two will make it to the next round, all are believed to have great potential for these two important places.
Belgium, the star of the group
The team is known as ‘Les Diables Rouges’ (Red Devils), after the colour of their kit. They have participated in 13 World Cups and finished third in the 2018 World Cup after failing to reach the semi-finals against France. But they were also outstanding in World Cups such as the 1986 World Cup, where they finished fourth. As well as the 2014 World Cup, where it came sixth. This is how, year after year, this World Cup Group F has managed to emerge and add more achievements to its bag. This year, anything could happen in Qatar.
Players who made a difference
This World Cup Group F team has some advantages with their squad. It is not one of the youngest, but it is full of talent. Their team is recognised as a very experienced one, and for this Cup, they are expected to live up to high standards.
It counts with some stars as the top scorer, Romelu Lukaku has scored 68 goals in 100 games, since 2010. Also, it has Eden Hazard, Jan Ceulemans, Dries Mertens, Axel Witsel, and Jan Vertonghen, among others.
Croatia, the unstoppable
This team of the World Cup Group F has been active since 1940, although independent from Yugoslavia since 1990. Since then, they have attended five World Cups, with good performances, despite being so new in the field.
They may not have won first place, as they would have liked, but they did win third place at the 1998 World Cup in France. Years later, at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, they took second place in the tournament. The national team is considered one of the best in the FIFA rankings.

More than 200 players have played for the national team. Some of the most important players have been Davor Šuker (the top scorer in its history and Zvonimir Boban. As well as Robert Prosinečki, Robert Jarni, Mario Stanić or Goran Vlaović. The current captain is Luka Modrić.
Its uniform is characteristic of having squares (like a chessboard) in red and white, in honour of their crest. They have maintained colours, designs and combinations of their different crests, throughout their career.
Morocco, African power
The national team has participated in 5 World Cups (1970, 1986, 1994, 1998, 2018). Currently waiting to participate in the Qatar, 2022 one. They were the first country from the Arab world and Africa to reach the round of 16 at the World Cup Mexico, 1986.
This member of the World Cup Group F had an outstanding performance at the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations. There, they opened with a narrow win over Nigeria, then a 4-0 win over Benin and a 1-1 draw with South Africa. In the quarter-finals, they beat Algeria 3-1, before beating Mali 4-0 in the semi-finals. However, in the final, the Moroccans missed the chance to win their second title by losing 1-2 to hosts Tunisia.
This team is thirsty for victory and you can see that they are betting on everything to go further. They have not given up on going far, and little by little, they have been getting there.
Uniforms and famous players
As part of its squad, Morocco’s national team has several young players. Such as Amine Harit, Othmane Rahouti, and Achraf Hakimi, among others. Their top scorer is Ahmed Faras (42 goals).

Canada, CONCACAF’s surprise
In World Cup Group F, you could say that there is a comparison between Canada and Morocco. Although both teams have great skills and strong squads, they have struggled to earn the top spot in this battle of two.
There are different opinions about this, but what is certain is that Canada is no slouch in this World Cup. They could be the weakest team in this World Cup Group F, or they could rise from the ashes. What is certain, however, is that they have achieved feats difficult for any other team to repeat.
Achievements in their history
This World Cup Group F member of this World Cup 2022, has participated 1 time in the World Cup. It attended, as one of the 24 countries called up, the 1986 World Cup in Mexico. Throughout their trajectory, we can distinguish some valuable footballers. These are Junior Hoilett, Cyle Larin (one of their best strikers), Jonathan David, Lucas Cavallini and Alphonso Davies. Most of their squad is young and full of potential. Although they might be missing some secret ingredient for this World Cup. That remains to be seen.
