There’s a relative divide between the top six and the rest of the Premier League.
Those six clubs – Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Arsenal – all go into the start of each season knowing they are the biggest clubs in England and all have title hopes, with a Champions League finish being the minimum expectation for each.
Yet that doesn’t mean there isn’t quality outside of the top six, despite their dominance of the transfer market in England.
We’ve had a look at the best players in the Premier League who play at clubs expected to finish further down the table and have put together a starting eleven we think could do very well indeed.
