Yokohama FM to Win
The 2022 champions Yokohama FM have their work cut out this season, with Kobe rivalling them for first place. However, they are still hot on their tails and a trip to Tokyo must see Yokohama FM return with all three points if they are to keep their title.
The away side head into this fixture with the best form in the league over the last five matches, winning four of them and scoring 12 goals in the process. Tokyo, on the other hand, have only collected four points from their last five.
BTTS – Yes
Despite Yokohama FM's recent good form, on the road this season they have conceded 11 goals in eight matches, which has been a factor in why they are not running away with the title this campaign.
Tokyo have the third best home form in the league, averaging two goals a game in front of their home fans. The last time these two sides met it finished 2-2.

Tokyo – Yokohama FM Preview:
This looks to be a cracking match on Saturday morning, so let's take a better look at the teams ahead of their game:
Tokyo
Currently sitting in 11th spot, Tokyo have been relying on their home form in order to keep their heads above water. They have the fourth best in the J League, above Urawa's and Kawasaki Frontale at this stage. This is mainly down to Diego Oliveria, as their Brazilian striker has scored five goals out of the 19 they have scored to date, and without him, they would be battling to stay in the league. He will be key on Saturday if they are to get anything out of a difficult match.
Vissel Kobe Predicted Lineup:
Slowik – Tokumoto, Henrique Trevisan, Morishige, Nagatomo – Higashi, Abe, Koizumi – Watanabe, Diego Oliveira, Nakagawa
Kawasaki Frontale
Yokohama FM head into their match with Tokyo in fantastic form, and having beaten Avispa Fukuoka 2-0 last time out, confidence remains high in the camp. Brazilian forward Anderson Lopes has scored nine J League goals this campaign, almost a third of their goals scored to date.
The away side head into this encounter with no fresh injury concerns as they look to close the gap on Kobe who sit in first place.
Kawasaki Frontale Predicted Lineup:
Ichimori – Kamijima, Hatanaka, Eduardo, Nagato – Kida, Watanabe, Nishimura – Yan, Anderson Lopes, Elber

Yokohama F-Marinos
Player to Watch: Anderson Lopes
Yokohama FM's Brazilian forward joined in 2022 from Chinese Super League outfit Wuhan and after scoring 11 goals in 28 appearances last campaign, he already look set to beat that tally on nine goals after just 15 appearances. He scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Avispa Fukuoka last time out and he'll be hoping to continue that form into Yokohama FM's encounter against Tokyo. A goal and three points will send a message out to the J League that the 2022 champions aren't ready to give up their title just yet.
