Chelsea are making up for lost time. Unable to sign anyone last summer they also failed to add anyone in January. The Blues have already agreed a deal for Hakim Ziyech and now look set to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig too.
The German international had appeared Liverpool-bound. But the West Londoners nipped in to meet the forward's £53million release clause. Assuming personal terms can be agreed and a medical completed, Werner will become a Chelsea player.

In the latest episode of Football Whispers' Tiki Tactics, we explain why Lampard has sanctioned a big-money move for Werner.
