Stromsgodset vs Odd: Top Two Predictions
Stromsgodset are the bookmaker's favourites to win this weekend and move back into the top three. As things stand, Saturday's hosts have a game in hand over third-placed Viking and are just 2pts behind them, so a win over mid-table Odd is the order of the day.
Contents
Over 2.5 Goals
We're expecting goals in this game as three of the last four competitive and non-competitive encounters between Stromsgodset and Odd have produced over 2.5 goals. At least three goals have been scored in five of Stromsgodset's last six fixtures while four of Odd's last five competitive games have witnessed over 2.5 goals scored.
Both Teams to Score
There is a good chance we will be treated to goals at both ends of the pitch this weekend between two sides that are fairly evenly matched despite sitting five places apart. Both teams have also scored in four of the host's and four of the visitor's last six outings in all competitions, adding further weight to our second prediction for Saturday's Eliteserien clash.

Stromsgodset will move into the top three with a win
Stromsgodset made the trip to Aalesund at the weekend where a solitary goal proved enough to decide the destination of all 3pts. The first half ended goalless but early in the second forty-five, Haugen was afforded too much time and space and punished Stromsgodset with a goal that won the game for Aalesund.
Stromsgodset Predicted Lineup: Myhra, Valsvik, Vilsvik, Grøgaard, Leifsson, Tokstad, Stengel, Hove, Jack, Gulliksen & Salvesen
Odd used their home advantage against Bodo/Glimt well but needed a last-gasp goal to win the game in the end. Jevtovic put the home side in front after 19-minutes but the clubs went in level at the break following a Bodo/Glimt equaliser just shy of the half-hour mark. Wallem fired Odd back in front in the 59th-minute after good work from Jorgensen who claimed the assist but the win appeared to have escaped the home side when Bodo/Glimt equalised in the 7th-minute of time added on. However, there was one last twist in this fantastic match as Odd were given a penalty in the 99th-minute which Ruud converted under great pressure to win the game for the hosts.
Odd Predicted Lineup: Wahlstedt, Ruud, Hagen, Baccay, Mesík, Jevtović, Owusu, Kitolano, Wallem, Jørgensen & Lauritsen
