Spartak Moscow Double Chance

Leicester are yet to win in Group C and we expect the Premier League side to struggle once again this week when they make the trip to Russia to face a Spartak Moscow side that have one win and one defeat to their name. The hosts are unbeaten in their last four matches in all competitions, while Leicester have only won two of their last six matches in league and cup. The Foxes have been inconsistent both domestically and in Europe so far this season and that is why we're backing the home side with a double chance bet.

Under 2.5 Goals

We're expecting this game to be tight and tense throughout and have predicted that under 2.5 goals will be scored, or not scored as the case may be. Four of the host's last six outings have produced under 2.5 goals and two of Leicester's last three away games have also witnessed fewer than three goals scored.

0-0 Draw

In terms of a final scoreline, we're backing this game to end goalless. Spartak Moscow have kept two clean sheets in their last four outings and failed to score in their last home game in the Europa League against Legia Warsaw. Leicester have only won once on their travels in their last four attempts and while they are the bookmaker's favourites to win, we believe this game is most likely to end in a goalless draw unless Spartak pinch all 3pts.

Can Leicester win their first Europa League group game at the third time of asking?

Spartak Moscow played out a 2-2 draw at home to Dinamo Moscow at the weekend. The hosts came from two goals down in Saturday's clash to rescue a point thanks to a couple of late strikes from Dzhikiya and Gigot. Spartak have already won one game in Group C, beating Napoli 3-2 last time out against the odds, and we expect them to take the confidence gained from that victory into Wednesday match against the Foxes.

Leicester secured an excellent 4-2 win over Man Utd on Saturday but their form in both the Premier League and the Europa League has been underwhelming so far this season. Leicester drew with Napoli on matchday1 and then lost 1-0 away at Legia Warsaw, so you can see why we're not backing the away side to secure all 3pts in Russia despite the odds being in their favour.

Team News

Spartak Moscow: Caufriez is suspended for the hosts, while Umyarov, Promes, Ponce, Melkadze and Maslov are all injury concerns.

Leicester: Wilfred Ndidi, Nampalys Mendy, Wesley Fofana and James Justin look set to miss the trip to Russia through injury.
