Spain vs Germany Prediction, Odds & Betting Tips 27/11/2022

Spain vs Germany: Football Whispers' latest betting tips

Germany simply have to bounce back with a positive result against Spain after losing their opening match unexpectedly. The Spanish recorded a 7-0 victory over a lackluster Costa Rica side and will be expecting a tougher 90-minutes against the four-times World Champions.

Spain to Win

Spain recorded a 6-0 win when they last played Germany in the Nations League back in 2020, and we're backing the Spanish to record another victory on matchday 2 in Group E. Spain were in fantastic form in the first game of the group stage, thrashing Costa Rica 7-0, while Germany ended up losing against Japan despite taking the lead and seem to really struggle without a recognised striker in the starting lineup.

Over 2.5 Goals

We're expecting goals in this game just as there was when these two teams last locked horns and Spain ran out 6-0 winners. Over 2.5 goals have been scored in three of Spain's last four outings as well as in three of Germany's last five fixtures, adding further weight to our prediction.

Can Germany handle Spain's attacking threats?

Spain

Spain simply didn't take their foot off the gas against Costa Rica and ended up winning the game 7-0. Costa Rica are usually a tough side to beat and have good attacking players but none of that was on show in this game. The underdogs offered nothing going forward and seemed to panic every time the ball entered their box which led to a Spain free-for-all.

Germany

Germany went in at the break 1-0 up against Japan thanks to a Gundogan penalty but Japan had caused the favorites a lot of problems during the opening forty-five minutes. Germany's failure to take their chances along with their inability to defend against Japan's pace, movement and numbers going forward led to yet another World Cup shock. Two substitutes scored a goal each in the second half as Germany fell to the waste side and now have to pick themselves up for a daunting game against Spain.
