England guaranteed their place at the 2018 World Cup finals with a last-gasp win over Slovenia at Wembley Stadium on Thursday.

Captain Harry Kane stepped up in the 94th minute to score the crucial winning goal, poking home a wicked cross from his former Tottenham Hotspur team-mate Kyle Walker.

The Spurs hitman is in exceptional form for his club and will want to continue that at international level with England. Come next summer, he is likely to be the man charged with finding the goals to lead the Three Lions forward in Russia.

Indeed, with the performances Kane has put in of late, he may even have ambitions of top scoring at next year's World Cup. Were he to do so, he would put his name alongside some of the great attackers in football history, and could ensure his country are serious contenders.

The last, and only, time England won the tournament was in 1966. But can you remember and name every World Cup top scorer since that finals?
