There's not long for players to catch England manager Gareth Southgate's eye before he names his squad for the 2018 World Cup. The Three Lions boss has handed out plenty of caps, but how many of England's one-cap wonders can you remember?

The Three Lions have two friendlies in March – against Holland and Italy. After that the next time the England boss will have his players as a group will be when he names his 30-man squad for Russia which is then cut down to 23 ahead of the tournament.

If players want to catch the eye of the former Middlesbrough manager then the window of opportunity is now limited. However, if they time it just right, much like Harry Maguire did with his early season form for Leicester City, then they may find themselves in with a chance of being on the plane to Russia.

One bad game in a friendly, though, and your International career may come to an end before it's even started. You join the dreaded list of one-cap wonders.

We've trawled the archives to remember every one-cap wonder since 2009. You have eight minutes to name all 32. The clubs listed are the team the player was representing – loan spells are included – when they made their single appearance.
