Manchester City

Manchester City

Manchester City's name has flourished in recent years. They are predicted to win this year's UEFA Champions League, and they finished second in the Premier League ranking last season. Their manager is Pep Guardiola, who is one of the best of all time. He was the first manager to win a domestic treble in English football. He has managed the team since 2016, and we think that this season would be their lucky one. The 2021 Premier League isn't that far along, and the team has a shot at ranking first next season.

Liverpool is the current reigning champion of the Premier League. The 2019/2020 season was their first-ever title. Despite winning the League only once the team has a lot of potentials, and if they repeat what they did last season, they could take the Premier League title next year. Their manager Jürgen Klopp has had an unbeaten run as manager of the club, and with his help, the team won a few tournaments, including the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and obtained two vital records. One is of most points in the Premier League without winning it, and the other one is the second-longest unbeaten game run in the Premier League.

Chelsea, Frank Lampard

Chelsea has lifted five Premier League titles during their career. Their most recent ones are the two consecutive titles during the 2014/2015 and 2016/2017 season. They managed to get to fourth place during the last Premier League season. Their current manager Frank Lampard, who is one of the best midfielders of his time. He has led the team through many tough matches and even a month-long winning streak, which lead him to win the Premier League Manager of the Month award in October 2019.  the team has a small chance of winning the 2020/2021 Premier League, but they would have to work hard.

Manchester United

Manchester United has had the most wins in the history of the Premier League. They hold thirteen titles since the creation of the tournament in 1992. Their most recent success was in the 2012/2013 season, so we aren't sure if they are up for another title. While the team is spectacular, they can't seem to win tournaments in recent years. We hope to see them rank at least in the top five in the 2021 Premier League table. Their current manager is a former striker of theirs Ole Gunnar Solskjær, who will be them for the length of his three-year deal.

Underdog Teams Who Can Win or At Least Finish in The Top Five

Arsenal is one of the teams with multiple Premier League titles throughout the League. They won all of the first places before 2010, so it's not highly likely for them to win, but their team is one of the best in England, so we shouldn't underestimate their chances. During the last Premier League, they finished eighth in the rankings table. Many people believe that after the club lost Arsène Wenger as a manager, they won't win a tournament again. Whether that's true for the 2021 Premier League, we can only wait and see.

Tottenham Hotspur

Jose Mourinho Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur or the “Spurs” for short are a well-known team that has done well over the years but doesn't have that many titles like other teams on it. Their highest place in the Premier League was second during the 2016/2017 season. They even got to their first UEFA Champions League final not long after, but they lost to Liverpool. Their current manager – José Mourinho, is one of the best managers out there, and we expect him to lead the team into a new era. He was appointed during the 2019/2020 season, so we can only expect positive things during the 2020/2021 season.

Leicester City

Leicester City is an admirable team and one of the seven clubs in England that won the Premier League competition since it was created. The 2015/2016 Premier League title was their first top-level football accomplishment, but in the most recent season of the League, they ranked in fifth place out of twenty. They might surprise everyone and retake the title, but only time will tell. There are still the summer transfers and the winter transfers to think about. Some fundamental changes could be made to the squads that would lead the team to another Premier League win.

Wolverhampton Wanderers

The Wolves placed seventh in the Premier League ranks during the last Premier League, which was their highest in the division since the 1979/1980 season. They might not be next year's favorites, but they have shown that they are worthy and even snatched a UEFA Europa League spot. We can only wait and see how if they would climb the ladder even further next season.

What is the Premier League?

The Premier League is the top competition in English Football. It's also referred to as the English Premier League. If we judge by attendance and views, the Premier League is the most popular football event in the world.

It consists of twenty clubs, and each year teams are promoted and relegated to a lower league. Below the Premier League is the English Championship, where relegated teams from the Premier League end up. The top teams of the English Championship get promoted to the Premier League.

Each year Premier League matches run from August to May. Each of the participants in the League plays thirty-eight matches versus all other teams both home and away.

The four top teams of each Premier League season qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stage each year.

Our Final Conclusion

The 2021 Premier League starts soon, but the winner would be crowned next year. We don't know if our predictions would come true, but we hope that we are close. The teams on our list are fantastic and have a large fan-base that counts on them to perform well in the next Premier League. We are sure they won't disappoint them.
