How has Porto fared recently in all tournaments?

Porto has played well in the group stage of this year's UCL. They lost only to Man City and beat everyone else in the group by at least a 2-goal difference. What is not so impressive is that in 2016/2017 when Porto faced Juventus, they could not even score a goal in the 2 losses against the Italian side.

What’s even a little bit more unsettling is the fact that Porto hasn’t won in 4 straight matches conceding equalizers late.

Has Juventus been good lately?

The team has performed well and they are on a streak of sorts. Juve went home with the victory in 6 of their last 8 matches. Interestingly enough in 8 of their last 9, one of the sides did not even score a goal.

What's even more promising is that Juventus has won 6 of its last 8 matches on the road and has won by at least 2 goals in 5 of those games.

Still, despite all the positive stats that we have gone through, Juventus lost their last game when they visited Napoli on 13.02. It was a trap game of sorts because an argument can be made that the ‘’Bianconeri’’ were looking ahead to the match versus Porto.

Both Teams to score: No @ 5/6

According to oddsmakers, Porto stands little chance to win even though the match is at home. Given their shaky performances of late, we think that Juventus will be able to shut them down. This doesn’t mean the game will end in a blowout. It may very well be 0-0 or even 1-0 for Porto. In all these cases, the bet wins.

Cristiano Ronaldo to score anytime: Yes @ 1/1

Ronaldo loves scoring in the Champions League more than anything. He scored in 3 of the 6 group stages matches that Juve played this season in the UCL. The best part is that this happened in Juve’s last 3 games.

Also, we know that Ronaldo will be hungry because he will be playing in his home country and also because it has been 20 days since he scored a goal in any competition.

2nd Half Result: Juventus @ 5/2

It appears that Porto isn't very good late in games. It may be their conditioning or mentality. Either way, it's not good. Also, Juventus has scored a 2nd half goal in 5 of their last 7 games. This bodes very well against Porto’s weakness.
