Here are our Championship predictions for Huddersfield vs Plymouth on Saturday. These two sides look set to battle it out in the bottom half of the table this season and we are expecting a tight and tense ninety minutes between the two clubs this weekend. Charles Ondo might not be a name all too familiar to Huddersfield fans but the youngster has been called up to the Equatorial Guinea side to compete in Group A of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Huddersfield vs Plymouth prediction – Betting tips & odds

Hot Tip – Draw

  • Three of Plymouth's last five matches have ended in draws.
  • Huddersfield have failed to win five of their last six matches in league and cup.

Another reason that we have backed a draw as our main prediction for this game is that the last ten meetings between these two clubs have failed to produce a single draw but records are meant to be broken.

Huddersfield vs Plymouth team news

Huddersfield

Huddersfield were well and truly beaten at the King Power Stadium in their last league game. The Foxes were three goals to the good before Michal Helik pulled a goal back for the Terriers, but Leicester had the last laugh as they scored a fourth goal in the seventy-seventh minute to make the final scoreline 4-1.

Jonathan Hogg, Delano Burgzorg, Chris Maxwell, Daniel Ward, Matty Pearson, Josh Ruffels, Kian Harratt, Patrick Jones and Oliver Turton are among the injury concerns for Huddersfield this weekend.

Predicted Lineup: Nicholls (GK), Lees, Helik, Nakayama, Ayina, Edmonds-Green, Kasumu, Thomas, Wiles, Rudoni & Koroma

Plymouth

Plymouth played out an epic 3-3 draw at home to Watford that will live long in the memory. Plymouth conceded an early goal but soon found themselves 2-1 up thanks to efforts from Finn Azaz and Morgan Whittaker before the visitors equalised in the thirty-eighth minute. However, Plymouth did go in at the break 3-2 up thanks to a goal from Ryan Hardie but the hosts were unable to hold onto their advantage and Watford made it 3-3 shortly before the hour mark and the teams had to settle for a point apiece.

Player to Watch: Bojan Radulovic

The 24-year-old striker scored eighteen goals in sixteen starts for Finnish side HJK in 2023 and the former Brighton youth player will be hoping to carry on that form in the Championship.
