Celtic will be hoping to bounce back from a heavy 7-1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in Champions League action when they take on Motherwell in the Scottish League Cup final this Sunday.

Brendan Rodgers’ side took the lead against PSG before doubles from Neymar and Edinson Cavani, as well as individual strikes from Kylian Mbappé, Marco Verratti and Dani Alves, sealed a tough loss. However, they will have to brush it off quickly in order to win their first trophy of the campaign and maintain their historic unbeaten record in domestic football.

The last time the two teams met was in February, with Celtic running out 2-0 winners. A similar outcome is widely expected this weekend, though the Bhoys may have to play without key defender Mikael Lustig (thigh muscle strain).

Kick off for Celtic’s clash with Motherwell is set for 3:00 pm, and the match will be televised on BT Sport 1.
