Manchester City host Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday in a top-five clash that could show where both teams are headed this season.

Pep Guardiola’s side are flying right now, winning nine out of ten league games, and the 4-2 victory over Napoli on Wednesday was their 14th consecutive win – a club record.

The only time City have failed to score at home this season was in their League Cup tie against Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers, a game they eventually won on penalties.

And if there were any concerns City were taking things easy, they were quickly quashed with wins over West Bromwich Albion and Napoli.

No English club had ever gone to Naples and won. But after Jorginho’s penalty levelled the game at 2-2, but City stepped up and stormed to victory with goals from Sergio Agüero and Raheem Sterling.

Pep started with Sterling, Agüero and Sané up front against Napoli and it is unlikely he won't tinker with his front-line. Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva could come back in, but all will depend on how the three starters recover.

David Silva could be handed the nod in midfield after Ilkay Gündogan started against the Italians.
