After a positive result away to Celta Vigo in the Europa League on Thursday night, earning a 1-0 lead in the semi-final tie, Manchester United face the tough task of travelling to the Emirates to take on Arsenal on Sunday.
Both teams currently reside outside the top four in the Premier League, and both have designs on clawing their way back into the Champions League qualification places before the season ends later this month.
However, after his side's first-leg win in Vigo, José Mourinho insisted that he would rest key players ahead of the clash with Arsenal, clearly viewing Europa League glory as United's best route back to the Champions League.

It will be interesting to see whether Mourinho follows through with his promise to omit some of the overworked members of his squad against the Gunners.
The Portuguese coach has a well-publicised rivalry with Arsène Wenger and he would certainly be reluctant to hand the Frenchman any kind of competitive advantage.
As it stands, the outcome of this match could be academic when it comes to the race to finish inside the top four, as neither side is in full control of their destiny in that respect.
But United and Arsenal will both be intent on taking all three points on Sunday in order to stay within touching distance of third-placed Liverpool and fourth-placed Manchester City should either side falter in the remaining fixtures.
