Monaco vs Troyes: Our top betting tips

Neither Monaco or Troyes are exactly flying right now. Will one of them find a way to bank their team three points? Find out with our Monaco vs Troyes match preview with free tips, predictions and odds mentioned along the way.

Monaco to win end to end game

Monaco have had a disappointing campaign so far; despite kick-starting their campaign with a 2:1 win at Strasbourg, Philippe Clement's men have not been able to win any games since then. However, Monaco will go up against a Troyes side that lost three of four league games; they've also had Troyes's number in the past. In fact, Monaco won all of the last five meetings between these teams, with no losses in their last six clashes. With that in mind, Monaco should be able to win this match; and considering both teams scored in four of the last five meetings between these sides, both teams should score.

Goals at both ends

Monaco and Troyes have not been able to rely on their defence to shut teams out recently; Monaco conceded in all of their last nine games, while Troyes have just one clean sheet in their last 11 matches. We would like to point out that both teams have scored their fair share of goals. As a result, both teams were on the score sheet in all of Monaco's last nine games, and in three of Troyes's last four matches. With that in mind, both teams will likely get on the score sheet here.

Can Monaco bag three points?

Both of these teams arrive here off the back of good results with Monaco grabbing a point at PSG and Troyes beating Angers.  Both will have ambitions of winning this game so it will be interesting to see how they set up as they weigh up going for a steady display or a hung ho one to really take the fight to the opposition.

Kevin Volland picked up an injury in Monaco's 1:1 draw at PSG last weekend, and will be unavailable for selection. Vanderson will return from a one-match suspension, while Youssouf Fofana is still serving a three-match ban due to a red card. Additionally, the likes of Yllan Okou, Willem Geubbels and Myron Boadu are in the recovery room.

Monaco Predicted lineup – Nübel, Aguilar, Disasi, Maripán, Henrique, Diatta, Fofana, Camara, Golovin, Embolo, Ben Yedder.

Troyes lost Andreas Bruus to a knee injury in their 3:0 loss at the hands of Toulouse; Abdu Conte is still recovering from a muscle injury he sustained last season, while Karim Azamoum hasn't played in almost a year. However, Troyes received a major confidence boost as they got their first win of the season against Angers last weekend.

Troyes Predicted lineup – Gallon, Baldé, Rami, Palmer-Brown, Salmier, Larouci, Lopes, Kouamé, Tardieu, Ripart, Ugbo
