Lille vs Angers Odds and Free Bets

After a frustrating draw against Rennes, Lille should have a much easier time against one of the worst teams in Ligue 1.

Lille to Win

Lille failed to win in their last two matches, but for the final game of the first part of the season, they will face the worst team in the league. It's a good opportunity to finish it off with a win that most fans expect. Angers have lost six matches in a row, and they seem destined for relegation this season.

Over 2.5 Goals

Angers are at the very top of the league in one aspect, and that is the number of matches with more than two goals scored. They had eleven of those games, while Lille had them on ten occasions. With mounting injury problems for Angers, they could have a torrid time at Lille whose Jonathan David is about to get into the double figures when it comes to his goal-scoring record.

Lille is better than last year

Even though they are without a win for their last couple of matches, and got frustrated with a 1-1 draw against Rennes last weekened, Lille has six more points than at the same stage of the season last year. They are still on the hunt for European places, which are missing from their portfolio this season. Lille has too much talent not to play for European glory, and they do not want to make the same mistakes they did a year ago. Lille coach Paulo Fonseca is under pressure to deliver results this season, but somehow they didn't come as far as he expected. Lille has seven wins this season, but what hurt them the most is the number of losses, they had five thus far.

Lille predicted starting 11: Chevalier, Diakite, Djalo, Fonte, Weah, And. Gomes, Andre, Bamba, Cabella, Ang. Gomes, Davis.

Angers' season is getting worse with each passing round, they have lost six matches in a row, and it seems nobody expects them to survive the relegation to the Second Division. Of course, there are still a lot of matches to be played, and they are only four points away from the safe zone. However, with the way they are playing, their defensive woes, and their lack of efficiency, not many would expect they will make it through the season unscathed. They have allowed a league-high 33 goals, and while anticipating the match against a favorite like Lille, they are facing a mountain of problems with injuries. The one unavailability that will be felt is by Sofiane Boufal who is one of their leading scorers with three goals.

Angers' predicted starting 11: Fofana, Doumbia, Hountondji, Amadou, Blazic, El Melali, Ounahi, Bentaleb, Mendy, Salama, Hunou.

Team News:

Lille: Gabriel Gudmundsson and Ismaily are injured.

Angers: Ousmane Camara, Sofiane Boufal, Ali Kalla, Lois Diony, and Ulrick Eneme-Ella are injured, while Batista Mendy is suspended.
