One of Jose Mourinho's most memorable nights as Roma boss came in March 2022 when his side overcame Lazio 3-0. Both clubs were chasing a top-four spot so the win was worth more than just local bragging rights. Roma were electric on the night with three first half goals blowing their opponents away.

Lazio vs Roma H2H: Potential MVP
Romelu Lukaku was seemingly unwanted by a host of clubs in Serie A this summer with Juventus fans going as far as to protest against his arrival when their club were in talks with the Belgian. Eventually, the ex-Inter Milan forward signed for Roma after Jose Mourinho made a pitch to the man he has managed twice before.
Lukaku has repaid the faith shown in him by Mourinho by performing as well as he has ever done. So far, Lukaku has nine goals in 13 appearances for Roma in all competitions and without him, the club's predicament would be far worse. If he can get on the scoresheet on Sunday then he will cement his place as a firm fan favourite in Rome.

Lazio vs Roma H2H – Key trend
Although both teams are technically “at home”, Lazio are the official home side for this fixture which bodes well from a superstitious point of view. The last seven times they have been the designated home side in the derby they have kept a clean sheet but they will have to be at their best if they are to continue this trend with Romelu Lukaku in this kind of form. We are going for a score draw with plenty of action at both ends.
