Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a bid for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.
The French giants are looking to add to their options in attack after Lionel Messi‘s departure and the uncertainty around the future of Kylian Mbappe.
With that in mind, Nantes academy product Kolo Muani has been identified as the player to fill that void.
Premier League clubs Manchester United and Tottenham have both also been linked with the player, but Erik ten Hag's side recently signed Rasmus Hojlund, so are unlikely to add another expensive forward to the squad.
Meanwhile, Spurs are waiting for clarity on the future of Harry Kane, who has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich, before they will decide to bring in a new striker or not.
Kolo Muani primed for return to France
According to exclusive information from transfer expert Ekrem Konur, PSG are preparing to launch a bid of €70 million for the 24-year-old, which is still some way short of the €100 million price tag Eintracht has placed on the player.
An agreement somewhere in the middle of the two valuations is a likely outcome.
Before moving to Germany 12 months ago, Kolo Muani had played in Ligue 1 for two full seasons, scoring 21 goals in 73 games.
Last season, he featured in 32 Bundesliga games, scoring 15 goals and providing 11 assists.
These numbers make him one of the most promising young strikers in the European market and have seen him earn a call-up to the French national team squad last year.
To date, he has made nine appearances for Les Bleus and scored one goal – against Morocco in the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup.
Kolo Muani has four years left on his current deal with Eintracht Frankfurt.
