Although the player seems hopeful of reconciling with manager Erik ten Hag, a now-deleted Jadon Sancho Twitter post from August continues to power the rumour mill.
And with the Turkish transfer window not closing until Friday 15 September, there’s still time for his manager to oust him once and for all, by means of a transfer to the likes of champions Galatasaray.

Jadon Sancho Twitter post – how the problem started
In Manchester United’s last outing – a 3-1 defeat at Arsenal in the Premier League – Ten Hag decided to leave Sancho out of the matchday squad.
The Dutchman later explained that this was due to his poor performances in training, which caused Sancho to lash out.
In a now-deleted post on the platform ‘X’, formerly known as Twitter, the winger claimed Ten Hag’s comments about his poor training performances were “completely untrue”, and accused his manager of making him a “scapegoat”.
However, in the latest twist to this saga, Sancho has since deleted the post, in a possible attempt to reconcile with his boss.
Poor performances in training cost Sancho
Unfortunately for Sancho, this isn’t the first time his standards in training have been questioned.
At Borussia Dortmund, he was sent to train with the reserves in his debut campaign, after repeatedly turning up late. Two years later, he was suspended by his then-manager Lucien Favre for being late once more, after returning from international duty with England.
His training performances have also been questioned by Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate, and subsequently he has not played for his country for nearly two years.
Where to next?
With the Turkish transfer window open until Friday, there’s still a chance of Sancho being shifted before January – permanently or otherwise – and there would surely be a few takers for the 23-year-old, given his past credentials and the incredible hype he once conjured.
There are but three potential destinations that currently look realistic:
Galatasaray
As Galatasaray have already brought in Hakim Ziyech and Wilfried Zaha from the Premier League in this window, they have a taste for English-based wingers, and could add Sancho into the mix.
An added incentive for the Turkish giants is that United are also in their UEFA Champions League group, and so could inflict direct damage on their opponents by making this move.
Besiktas
Likewise, Besiktas have already dipped into the English market by signing Daniel Amartey, Arthur Masuaku, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Milot Rashica, while they also have a chance to reunite Sancho with his former United team-mate Eric Bailly.
Fenerbahce
Fenerbahce will want to build a strong squad for their UEFA Europa Conference League campaign as well as in the Turkish Super Lig, and with wingers Emre Mor and Burak Kapacak ineligible for the former competition, Sancho would offer an alternative.
Despite Sancho deleting his post, it isn’t clear whether Ten Hag is willing to introduce him back into the fold, and indeed whether his estranged winger still has a long-term future at Old Trafford.
