Having won the Saudi second tier last season, Al Ahli have been busy in the transfer market in preparation for the new Saudi Pro League season.
To date they have signed goalkeeper Benjamin Mendy from Chelsea, Riyad Mahrez from Manchester City and Roberto Firmino as a free agent from Liverpool.
They also appointed a new coach at the start of the season in German Matthias Jaissle, having parted ways with South African Pitso Mosimane two months ago.
