Guinea vs Gambia team news
Guinea
After taking an early lead against Cameroon, Guinea only managed to hold off for a draw against the favourites. However, that was pretty impressive outcome given that Francois Kamano was sent off late in the first half. Guinea will now be looking for a win over Gambia to put them one step closer to the next stage.
Serhou Guirassy and Naby Keita missed the first game and are still doubtful for this one. Of course, Guinea will also miss Kamano who now has to serve a suspension.
Predicted Lineup – Kone – Conte, Jeanvier, Diakhaby, Sylla – Konate, Moriba – Camara, Guilavogui, Kante – Bayo
Gambia
In their first-ever appearance at AFCON in 2021. Gambia surprised everyone by reaching the quartier-finals. To get there, they beat Gambia in Round of 16, their next opponent. Gambia started AFCON 2023 with a convincing loss to the defending champions Senegal, who are the clear favourites to win Group C.
Just like Guinea, Gambia also had a player red-carded in the first round. Ebou Adams was sent off against Senegal, so he will now miss this match as well.
Predicted Lineup – Gaye – Janko, Colley, Gomez, Touray – Manneh, Marr, Darboe – Barrow, Minteh – Fadera
Confirmed Guinea vs Gambia lineups will appear here around 60 minutes before kickoff.

Player to watch: Issiaga Sylla
As we mentioned before, we expect Guinea's defence to play the crucial role in this match and that defence is led by the experienced Issiaga Sylla, who played more time for Guinea that any of his teammates.
