The Portuguese team struggled in last season's domestic championship finishing just above the relegation zone, but at least staying in the top division. This is a club with limited financial resources, so it is not a surprise that they are not someone who spends a lot of money on big transfers. There is only one addition to the team at this point of the summer, Heri Tavares joined the club on a free transfer from Famalicao. However, the club did earn some money by selling right-back Tiago Santos to Lille and attacker Andre Clovis to Academico Viseu. This will be Estoril's second friendly match this summer, they defeated OS Belenenses in their first game.

Player to Watch: Iliman Ndiaye

The talented French-born Senegalese striker joined Sheffield United some time ago as a teenager after spending his youth career in Marseille and then moving to England in 2016. Sheffield United brass brought him to their U19 squad four years ago and he has since developed into one of their more valuable prospects.

The 23-year-old has played 88 matches for Sheffield United scoring 22 goals and delivering 14 assists. Ndiaye's form has seen such an improvement that he earned a call-up to the Senegal national team for which he already played seven matches while scoring once in the process.
