Today's Top Two Tips for Croatia vs Austria
Escaping Group 1 is going to be a tough ask for Austria, especially if they lose their opening game of the Nations League away at Croatia on Friday 3rd June. The hosts are without Ivan Perišić but still have plenty of talent and experience throughout their side and head into the game as the bookmaker's pick to win.

Croatia to Win
Croatia have an excellent record against Austria winning each of the duo's last five meetings in all competitions, and we're backing Friday's hosts to secure all 3pts in the pair's opening game of the Nations League. The hosts have won four of their last six international matches while Austria have lost their last two away games against Wales and Denmark, so you can see just why we're backing Croatia to win.
Both Teams to Score
There is a good chance that we will be treated to goals at both ends of the pitch in the Stadion Gradski vrt as both teams possess talented attacking players that can not only unlock defences on a regular basis but also put the ball into the back of the net. Four of Croatia's last six matches have witnessed both teams score, while each of Austria's last four fixtures have ended with both teams scoring.

Can Croatia make it six wins in six encounters against Austria?
Supposedly a friendly, Croatia's home game against Bulgaria was close, competitive and produced two red cards during the 90-minutes. A tight and tense first forty-five minutes ended goalless but following the dismissal of Croatia defender, Caleta-Car for two yellow card offences, Bulgaria took the lead through the talented Despodov in the 69th-minute but the goalscorer was then shown a second yellow card moments later. Croatia responded really well and got back onto level terms via a Modric penalty in the 76th-minute which was followed up by a winning goal from Kramaric 10-minutes from time.
Croatia Predicted Lineup: Livaković, Vida, Vrsaljko, Gvardiol, Modrić, Pašalić, Vlašić, Kovačić, Brozović, Oršić & Kramarić
Austria had the home advantage against Scotland for their last friendly match but it didn't show in the opening hour. The visitors went 2-0 up thanks to a goal from Hendry in the 28th-minute and another from McGinnshortly before the hour mark. Austria had to respond and they did in the 75th-minute through Gregoritsch and then Schopf 8-minutes from time to rescue a 2-2 draw.
Austria Predicted Lineup: Lindner, Posch, Alaba, Lainer, Laimer, Schlager, Sabitzer, Lazaro, Baumgartner, Arnautović & Kalajdzic
