Roma star Cengiz Ünder is a wanted man. Both Chelsea and Arsenal – along with several other European clubs – have been linked with the Turkey international.

A potential fee of £54million has been reported. It's certainly sizable given Ünder has only been a regular for the Serie A side since the start of 2018.

However, the 21-year-old would certainly not be overawed by any move in January, or any fee paid for his services.

As he told the Guardian in November 2017: “I like to prove people wrong and exceed expectations. I’ve been doing it since the age of ten.”

Ünder has established himself as one of the brightest young attackers in Europe while at Roma – although we at Football Whispers first profiled the winger when he was still at İstanbul Başakşehir.

His star has risen quickly since leaving the Turkish club, though. And, as we explain in the video above, there are plenty of reasons a queue of Europe's biggest clubs is forming to prise him away from Rome in January.
