Carlisle

Carlisle are yet to adapt to life in the higher division and the Cumbrians managed to win just one of their opening 10 league games. On Saturday another pretty toothless display led to a logical 0-2 away loss vs Wycombe.

Carlisle’s main weakness is their inability to score goals and until they start to create more and better chances their fortunes won’t change.

Used the same starting 11 in their last 2 games but now forced changes will be needed. The main goalie Andresson misses the game suspended. This will see the inexperienced Holy making a rare start between the posts.

Star centre-back Barclay and the important striker Kayode are also ruled out due to injuries. So are, midfielders McGeough and Charters.

Predicted Lineup:

Holy (GK), Lavelle, Huntingdon, Mellish, Back, Guy, Moxon, Gibson, Armer, Plange & Maguire

Peterborough

Peterborough were decisive when beating Bristol Rovers 2-0 at home to extend their unbeaten run in the league to four (W2 D2). Ajiboye celebrated his first start of the season with a goal and Posh easily controlled the proceedings once building a solid lead.

The main right-back Kioso is welcomed back for this match after suspension. However, now the team’s key inner midfielder Kyprianou will be missing due to a ban. This could see summer signing De Havilland given a rare start.

Poku and Powell sat out the Saturday match due to illness. Both hope to be feeling better come Tuesday and get involved again.

Predicted Lineup:

Belokapic (GK), Kioso, Edwards, Knight, Burrows, Collins, De Havilland, Ajiboye, Randall, Clarke-Harris & Mason-Clark

Starting Lineups

The teams usually announce their starting lineups one hour before the start of the game.
