Bologna's start to the new Serie A season hasn't been too bad but they face a really tricky home game against Lazio this weekend. The visitors arrive on the back of a very satisfying win in the Rome derby last weekend and were victorious in the Europa League in midweek.

Lazio to Win

Lazio sit 3pts and five places above Bologna in the Serie A table and have won three of their last six encounters against Sunday's hosts, only losing once during that period. It is fair to say that Lazio aren't as much of a force when Immobile isn't available but even without the goals of their Italian international striker, we're confident that Lazio will have enough about them to beat Bologna.

Under 2.5 Goals

Under 2.5 goals were produced when these two sides last met back in February and we're expecting another tight and tense 90-minutes on Sunday. Four of Lazio's last six matches have featured under 2.5 goals, and that was with Immobile in the side, so you can see why we're confident that this weekend's clash won't end up being a goal-fest.

0-1 to Lazio

As far as a final scoreline is concerned, we've backed Lazio to run out 1-0 winners. Bologna have been good in front of goal, only failing to score in one of their opening six league games, but Lazio kept a clean sheet last time out and the visitors will be looking to keep things tight at the back once again this weekend. Lazio have scored in each of their last four matches and on paper they have a much better squad than Bologna.

Lazio aiming for third straight win in all competitions

Bologna suffered a rather embarrassing 4-2 defeat away at Empoli last weekend and the tone of the afternoon was set in the very 1st-minute when Bonifazi put through his own goal to hand the home side the lead. Barrow managed to equalise for Lazio 10-minutes later but Empoli scored again to lead at the interval. A penalty in the 54th-minute put the hosts 3-1 up and although Arnautovic pulled a goal back late on, Empoli restored their two-goal advantage in the last minute.

Lazio's local derby against Roma also lived up to the hype as the pair produced a 5-goal thriller which Immobile and co. won 3-2. Milinkovic-Savic put Lazio in front in the 10th-minute and a goal from Pedro doubled Lazio's advantage 9-minutes later. Roma pulled a goal back through Ibanez but Anderson made it 3-1 just after the hour mark. Despite conceding a penalty which Veretout converted, Lazio held on to secure a big win against Jose Mourinho's Roma.
