Team Information, Preview, and Betis vs Burnley Lineups
Betis
The La Liga outfit didn't spend one penny this summer mainly bringing in players on free transfers or via loan deals. The newest members of Real Betis are Marc Roca, Hector Bellerin, Ayoze Perez, and Marc Bartra. On the other side of things, the club's brass managed to bring some cash flow by selling Sergio Canales to the Mexico side Monterrey while Edgar Gonzalez joined Almeria. This will be Betis' fourth friendly match this summer, they lost twice while defeating Middlesbrough in the last game. Nabil Fekir is doubtful to play.
Potential lineup: Silva, Felipe, Bartra, Abner, Bellerin, Carvalho, Roca, Guardado, Sanchez, Perez, Iglesias.
Burnley
The English team's fans are looking forward to their team competing in the Premier League once again and the club didn't mince spending a decent amount of money to make sure they stay there for a bit longer. Zeki Amdouni is their offensive signing, the player from FC Basel should bring some scoring to the fold. James Trafford and Jordan Beyer have added reinforcements. Famed former Belgian defender Vincent Kompany got great reviews after last season's heroics in the Championship and will be looking to prove himself in the Premiership this season. Burnley defeated Benfica in their latest friendly match without conceding a goal.
Potential lineup: Trafford, Beyer, Ekdal, Taylor, Roberts, Cork, Bastien, Cullen, Twine, Zaroury, Amdouni.
Player to Watch: Borja Iglesias
The star striker for Real Betis, Borja Iglesias has been proficient in front of the opposing goal since he joined the club four years ago from Espanyol. The 30-year-old striker has scored 50 goals and delivered ten assists in 163 matches across different competitions for the team based in Seville.
Iglesias has his senior debut for Real Zaragoza in 2017, but he didn't hold on to his place in the team leaving for Celta Vigo and later on, Espanyol. He was scoring goals for both teams before joining Betis where he continued his terrific form. Iglesias was capped by Spain's national team on a couple of occasions.
Starting lineups
