The traditional Premier League top four has become the top six in recent years.

Gone are the days of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool dominating at the top table in England and securing Champions League football each season.

Now the nouveau riche Manchester City and growing force of Tottenham Hotspur are big players – more so than Liverpool and Arsenal who have been forced to feed on scraps in the last couple of seasons.
