Austria Vienna vs Austria Lustenau Betting Tips

Here are our predictions for the 2ng leg of this Austria Bundesliga Conference League play-off between Austria Vienna and Austria Lustenau. The tie is poised neatly at 1-1 following the first leg at the Planet Pure Stadion, Lustenau. Austria Vienna have the home advantage this time around and head into the match as the bookmakers' favourite to win the tie and claim a place in the Conference League next season.

Austria Vienna to Win

Our first Austria Lustenau vs Austria Vienna prediction concerns the full-time result. Austria Vienna might not have won in Lustenau but they did claim a draw which now sets them up for a good chance of winning this Conference League play-off tie. The hosts have won three of their last six encounters with Lustenau but haven't managed to beat them this season which is a slight concern. Austria Vienna are unbeaten in their last two home games and that includes an impressive draw with Salzburg and a 3-1 win over Rapid.

Over 2.5 Goals & Both Teams to Score

Our second Austria Lustenau vs Austria Vienna prediction is for at least three goals to be scored and for both teams to find the back of the net. Both teams have scored in four of the last six meetings between these two clubs in league and cup, while over 2.5 goals have been produced in four of the pair's last six head-to-heads. Each of both clubs' last six outings have ended with both teams scoring and four of each team's last six games have also witnessed at least three goals cored, adding plenty of weight to our second prediction.

Austria Vienna vs Austria Lustenau Lineups and Last Match

Austria Vienna

Austria Vienna had to come from behind to seal a draw in the 1st leg but they will head into this next game the happier of the two sides. Fischer scored the all-important equaliser early in the second half after good work from Holland who claimed the assist. With the home crowd behind them on Sunday, Austria Vienna will fancy their chances of securing European football for next season. Leidner and El Sheiwi are the two main injury concerns for the hosts this weekend.

Predicted Lineup – Früchtl (GK), Martins, Mühl, Meisl, Holland, Ranftl, Fischer, Braunöder, Gruber, Tabaković & Polster

Lustenau

Austria Lustenau will feel like they missed a good chance to establish an advantage in this play-off tie as they only managed a draw at home despite taking the lead in the 17th minute through Fridrikas. The 1st leg proved to be a very heated affair with Lustenau picking up 4 yellow cards and their guests seeing five of their starting eleven booked. Four of those bookings arrived in the 74th and 75th minutes as the match boiled over. Lustenau have a clean bill of health and no suspended players for the 2nd-leg.

Predicted Lineup – Schierl (GK), Maak, Gmeiner, Grujčić, Berger, Hugonet, Grabher, Tiefenbach, Surdanović, Diaby & Fridrikas

Player to Watch: Haris Tabakovic

Austria Vienna's Swiss striker has been in excellent form this season netting 17-goals in the Bundesliga alone.

The 28-year-old is a former Lustenau player which is only going to add more fuel to an already feisty fixture, and we're backing Tabakovic to leave his mark on the match by scoring against his former employers.

The Swiss forward was prolific in front of goal during his time in the second tier with Lustenau, netting 27 league goals last season, earning him a move to a bigger club in the form of Austria Vienna.

Tajakovic is due a goal as he hasn't scored in any of his last four appearances in the Bundesliga and wouldn't it be poetic if he scored against Lustenau this weekend and stopped his former club from qualifying for the Conference League?
