Al Riyadh welcome Al Fateh on Thursday 9th November in the Saudi Pro League. Both sides have enjoyed different types of seasons so far with Al Fateh sitting inside the top five while Al Riyadh are slipping closer and closer towards a relegation battle. Ahead of their encounter, check out some of our football betting tips for the match below.

Al Riyadh vs Al-Fateh betting tips

Al Riyad may be a club based and named after the country's capital but they are far from crown jewels of Saudi football as things stand. Relegation looks more likely than silverware this season which is why we're leaning towards an Al-Fateh victory here. Despite Al Riyadh's poor form, home advantage should see them cover the BTTS market.

Al-Fateh to win

  • Al-Fateh have won four of their last five Saudi Pro League matches.
  • Al Riyadh have lost their last two Saudi Pro League matches.
  • Al-Fateh have won three of their last four away matches.

BTTS

  • Al-Fateh have only failed to score twice in a match this season.
  • Al Riyadh have scored at least one goal in seven of their last eight matches.
  • This is the first match between the two clubs so tactical setups will be limited.

Al Riyadh vs Al-Fateh lineups and latest team news

Al Riyadh

After securing promotion last season, big things were expected of Al Riyadh this time around as the anticipation built ahead of the new Pro League season. Things haven't gone terribly so far but they certainly could have also gone better. Investment in the team hasn't been huge compared to other teams so it's difficult to be too harsh on them.

Their Brazilian coaching staff won't have been happy with the 3-0 loss to Al Ahli last time out and will be hoping for more from their star players. These include midfield duo, Toure and Ndong, who will look to provide plenty of energy in the middle of the park on Thursday.

Predicted lineup

Campana – Al Shuwayyi, Al Shwirekh, Arslanagic, Tosca, Al Khaibari – Al Dossary, Ndong, Toure, Juanmi – Al Abass

Al-Fateh

Despite not being one of the four teams in the Pro League backed by PIF, Al-Fateh performed exceedingly well this season and are involved in the title race as things stand. The squad may not have the superstars of All Ittihad and Al Nassr but they play as a cohesive unit and that has shown plenty of times already this season.

Last time out, their long winning run was ended by league leaders Al-Hilal who were clinical in front of goal on the day. Despite that, the mood should still be good in the Al Fateh camp and the likes of Tello and Al Hassan will be chomping at the bit to have a go at the Al Riyadh defence.

Predicted lineup

Rinne- Baattia, Denayer, Saadane, Buhumaid – Zelarayan, Al Fuhaid, Ali – Al Saeed, Tello, Al Hassan
