Not all players are cut out for the rigours of the Premier League. The pace is frantic, referees allow for more of a physical approach and the weather isn't exactly something that's easy to adapt to when you're used to a hotter climates.

But just because you fail in the English top flight doesn't mean your career is a complete write-off. Some players flourish in foreign leagues and it results in fans wondering whether their time in England came to a premature end.

Simone Zaza is a name that will haunt West Ham United fans but he's a king in Spain. The striker is a spearheading Valencia's unexpected season, which sees them sit in second place just four points behind Barcelona and six points ahead of Real Madrid.
